PageZ

PageZ is a family friendly site that contains hundreds of games and silly videos. It was built by Neil Birkin, a teacher of Information Technology at a Secondary school in England. He wanted to offer his students the occasional treat for good work or good progress. After allowing one group of 15 year old students to have a few minutes on internet games, it quickly became obvious that he needed something more tailored to his needs - hence PageZ was born. The site contains only content which Neil considers suitable for his target audience which initially was school children of the ages of 11 - 16. However the site has grown in popularity both with children and parents alike, the lack of pop up advertising, the layout of the content etc have all proved quite popular and the site has an ever increasing following from a variety of UK schools. This increase in popularity is marked outside of school hours as well and PageZ now boasts well over 40,000 users per month - not bad for a site built to provide a reward for school kids! Also on PageZ are links to Free Tutorials covering a variety of topics from spreadsheets to basic Flash animation, plus Neil has put a couple of his web page based schemes of work up there for people to try out or use.

Enjoy a little 'down time' on PageZ - you can rest play on some of the old classic games or a selection of new ones. Neil checks all the games himself for content to make sure that they are appropriate and fun.
