"Spring Fever?
Why don’t you spring into a Florida State Park this year
to satisfy your “spring fever?!”
From the moment you enter a Florida State Park, you
literally leave the stresses of our modern society behind.
The Florida State Park System includes world class
beaches, underwater parks, recreational areas, rivers,
crystal clear cool springs, trails, museums, forts,
visitor centers and interpretive centers that will help
you understand and appreciate both natural and man-made
environments.
For the second time in five years, Florida State Parks was
recognized with the National Gold Medal Award for
excellence in Recreation Management from the National
Recreation and Park Association. This award is especially
significant because it marks the first time a state park
system received the recognition twice.
Check out Grayton Beach State Park or St. Andrews State
Park in the panhandle or take a lazy tube down the
refreshing Ichetucknee and Rainbow River to cool off or
surf the waves of the international surf competition at
Sebastian Inlet or relax on the award winning sands of
Caladesi Island State Park.
Spring Fever has never felt better in …the Real Florida.
