Yep, a small kangaroo. Its called a Wallaby. They are quite harmless. No one has been killed by one for ages. Weeks, at least. Maybe almost a month. Wallaby is an Aboriginal word that means "Small Kangaroo with large fangs that eats tourists."

This herd of White-Tail Deer is munching on red blossoms just outside my motorhome.  I took the photo from my couch inside the motorhome.

We were at Brazos Bend Texas State Park, southwest of Houston, Texas.
